Design Process: From Research to Product Launch - Full-Scope Design
The design process for Aqurate began with extensive research and discovery, including stakeholder interviews, user analysis, and competitor benchmarking. This step identified key challenges: the need for a cohesive brand identity, a way to simplify complex AI-driven insights for eCommerce merchants, and the creation of marketing assets that effectively communicate Aqurate's value proposition - turning data into actionable insights, helping merchants optimize their operations for higher engagement, retention and revenue growth.
With a clear understanding of Aqurate’s goals, the brand identity design was the next focus. I developed a logo that integrates the letter "a", a pie chart, a crosshair to symbolize precision, while the segmentation of the logomark also represents data visualization. The accompanying typography system balanced professionalism with modernity, while the versatile color palette (featuring bold blues, purples, teals, and yellows) embodied both innovation and approachability. These choices ensured that the brand resonated with its audience, stand out from the competition and could adapt across screens and platforms.
During ideation and prototyping, I designed the web app interface, creating intuitive dashboards and designed tools that transformed complex AI data into actionable insights. The UI allowed merchants to visualize customer behavior, optimize personalization, and drive conversions seamlessly. Additionally, I designed graphics and user flow visuals that explained Aqurate’s tools in a way that was easy to grasp, ensuring that potential users could quickly understand the product’s benefits.
To support Aqurate’s outreach, I developed marketing and communication assets, including social media banners, an eBook on eCommerce product pages, and a cohesive presentation deck. These materials amplified Aqurate’s story and positioned them as thought leaders in AI-driven personalization for eCommerce. I also created landing page graphics that visually explain the solution, helping the target audience understand its tools and benefits at a glance.
